Same here. While still slow, it seems to be much better when I use firefox at home. isp: comcast

Was lightening fast for last few weeks, but dragging very slow today. I just see red 'x' instead of images. The icons on the reply page are not showing.

Hey guys (and gals),
The site is running fine on the back end of things. I ran a tracert and things are getting held up somewhere in NYC (64.71.157.61). At that point the times are jumping into the 1000ms range.

Not guilty! I've been a really good girl, keeping my pms down to a minimum. Deleting them regularly not to bogg down the system again. I have even taken the precaution of changing my profile picture to limit the pm activity. ;)

people, please be patient and realize that the SITE IS NOT SLOW. THE SERVER RUNS MUCH FASTER THAN ANYTHING. Please be aware that the CONNECTION TO THE SERVER IS WHAT CAUSES SPEED LOSSES.

Please be patient while the problem is fixed. I imagine this will make the major newscasts tonight.:thumbup:
