Firefox 3 doesn't work with X5world

With Firefox 3 I cannot txpe anything in the reply or post editor

I'm having to use Internet Explorer to write this

Can a mod / site guru try this and see if it is a site or Firefox problem?

Firefox 2 was OK.

Quicksilver 07-03-2008 03:16 AM

There was a number of threads a while back about this. Check it out!!!

Are the issues solved or should a stick with FF2 for a while longer?

steed77 07-03-2008 09:34 AM

Stick with FF2. My FF3 is a mess to post here.

NC_X5_Guy 07-03-2008 04:00 PM

Using FF 3 on my PC for a week or two now with ZERO problems with X5world.

villajoe 07-14-2008 09:40 AM

weird, there's no curser but i can type in the reply box using FF3

AzNMpower32 08-18-2008 02:33 PM

I just upgraded to FF3 yesterday at my dad's request. It works okay, but there is no cursor in any reply boxes, either in normal editing mode or the Quick reply. As a result, you cannot click somewhere and edit/add/delete part of a previous sentence.

Stupid technology.

There is no cursor but you can still type.

AzX5 08-27-2008 11:14 AM

So still no solution? I just upgraded today to FF3 and am having the same problems mentioned over and over in this and other threads. I see no solution that works mentioned. I really really really want to avoid IE just for this site!

What version of vBulletin are you guys using? This is the only board that I go to that uses vBulletin that gives me any kind of problem.

alewifebp 09-22-2008 10:39 PM

Just figured out a workaround. Go in to User CP, then options. Change the editor formatting to standard. Did that and now I can see the cursor again!
