Hi, a suggestion:

A dedicated "Welcome" section

Noobs (like me) can introduce themselves to the whole forum and then the whole forum can grow as a community even if the noob only ends up posting in one section (ie E53)

On a forum I help moderate we have:

Welcome (hyperlink)

New to the forum? This is your first stop. Say hi and tell us a little about yourself here. Pictures of you and your ride welcome.
