...hanging out...checking the time it's always changing. sometimes it's faster...i'm trying to normalize my essence of time to what other people think it is...yes...that's it |
Well then try this on for size. ( Next time. Instead of wasting time, make good use of it) :nanana:
Importance of Time They are things that just happen every time and with everyone. Same is the case with time. Most of the times we take it for granted that there is always plenty of time. Due to this perhaps we indulge in various activities, which are a wholesale waste of time. The clock is always ticking. The seconds keep on ticking just like busy ants. The ants keep themselves always busy by always hunting for food everywhere. Similarly the seconds always keep on ticking to attain short-term goals of making a minute with 60 ticks. After reaching a milestone of a minute the second's hand of a clock don't take a break, but start afresh for another round of 60 ticks. The take it minute by minute and inadvertently reach a quarter of an hour, and hour and then a day. They always focus on the smaller targets- that is a minute and the bigger aim of the clock itself gets fulfilled. That's why the minutes hand have to work less, as the seconds hand does most of the running around. The minute hand just has to make 60 movements on a clock dial. The hours hand is the luckiest of the lot. It just moves for 12 times in an hour. But the seconds hand movies for 3600 times around the dial for the same hour! Parallel to this, in our life to we never realizes that we have lots to do. Between every big task we can always find enough time to fit in a plethora of smaller tasks. If you are waiting for a train at the station, you can always read a magazine or rather chalk out your study timetable for exams. While traveling in the bus too one can find enough time to at least skim through the previous days notes. Be like the clock. Always keep on ticking by involving yourself in various things and learning new things. These small knowledge and experience modules will perhaps one day take you to your bigger goal some day. They say "Time and Tide waits for no man". If so, now stop staring at the screen and utilize your time effectively! Deepak Chandrasekaran April 21, 2002 Top | Individuality |

interior: worse than the E90. Overall: E90 is better. But it needs a cosmetic refresh. The reliablity will probably suck. But the C63 will be a monster. |

yep...many times, we drive to la and vegas. the drive gets a little annoying...unless you're driving. i guess 6 hours isn't that bad...but after that long, the highway from la to vegas seems to be endless...even though it's only another 2 hour's drive...
i need to find time to go to la with my friends... |

i think i get too excited...if i recall...it's a four lane divided highway, and every couple of minutes, i think i see vegas...but i'm still sooooo far...:(

Look at the headlights and taillights) http://img258.imageshack.us/img258/661/cimg1605ue8.jpg http://img158.imageshack.us/img158/9525/cimg1603jq7.jpg (This pic was taken 1/2 hr before the woods behind the Hollywood sign were set on fire by tourists from Illinois. No, It wasn't me!!!!!!!! :)) We then went to an auto museum, the Petersen Auto Museum, that was pretty boring IMO. The only very cool thing they had was the Veyron! http://img409.imageshack.us/img409/9422/cimg1631es3.jpg http://img297.imageshack.us/img297/8331/cimg1636fd1.jpg Day of departure, Sunday. Heavy fog. This is the same pic as the 1st in this post. http://img392.imageshack.us/img392/2168/cimg1656ah6.jpg http://img257.imageshack.us/img257/8735/cimg1652xz2.jpg Turn on the fogs! :) (Don't worry rabbit, I turned on the headlights as we left:)) http://img99.imageshack.us/img99/6189/cimg1661nn7.jpg http://img337.imageshack.us/img337/2081/cimg1666py3.jpg view from the window(engine) of the last row on an Alaskan MD80....LA--> Seattle. http://img411.imageshack.us/img411/2452/cimg1667sn8.jpg That's Seattle. One of my favorite cities. (Not being sarcastic :)) http://img405.imageshack.us/img405/8610/cimg1670pt3.jpg That's the phone. At the hotel in St. Louis. I just had to take a pic of it. http://img244.imageshack.us/img244/6906/cimg1671hu5.jpg That's St. Louis at 5:53 am. http://img444.imageshack.us/img444/3557/cimg1678qh9.jpg And then I got home!!! Oh, and I have an X5 story. So my relative, who lives near LA, has a 02 X5 3.0i Sport. Pretty nice on the outside from a distance. Once you climb in you can see the BMW mismathed the wood trim. All of the car is drk. Burl, EXCEPT for the passenger front, which is the anthricate black wood. Very wierd. The car is also falling apart. The weatherstripping is all falling off, and interior bits are falling off left and right. We went to dinner one night at a nice restaurant and valeted the car. When we saw it pull up, it was dragging a piece of weatherstrip from the front passenger door, and it also had a brake light out. My relative said he might as well pull up in a Hyundai. He said he's going to buy a '06 3.0i fully loaded when he has the time. He thinks the E70 is too big for LA, and he only uses one or two of the seats at a time, never more. It still drives great, though. |

Can I put my trip pics in the lounge, or is that off topic? (;)) |
I thought this was the Test Lounge...then, it became the Time Test Lounge, whatever the hell that means.
Now, it's the pic lounge. Try the Lounge: anything goes, there. |

sonys aren't made in ohio :nanana:
i had my heart set on a macbook pro (the 2.16 one) or a sony vaio sz... the macbook pro was cheaper too (on amazon) but when i think that none of my stuff would work on the mac, i went sz the sz is a really nice computer. the quality and build of this computer is incomparable if i go mac, it would be to complement my windows, but i wouldn't completely dedicate my only computer (which i use for everyday things) to be a mac |
