How to post a video?
Via the vid "itself" or a link?
Got an amazing crash vid from my son via email, as an attachement: I can open and watch it, but no clue how to save it and get it here. Any helpful, easy tips from the Gang? BR,mD |
I'd love to help MD but, well, you know...I'm fookin clueless
 |
imageshack has a new video upload feature, but you need to download the tool bar first for some reason. You could also put it on Google Video.

Well, I can save it to a Doc file, but it shows up looking like a "scene" or
pic, not a URL/http thing link. But, I can't copy or drag it out of that doc file... I'm off to Thurs Eve Couples Texas Holdem so I'll screw with it later or tomorrow. It isn't that fookin exciting but a horrific high speed crash in Egg Harbor, NJ, from a long range camera. Thanks for the ideas... BR, The Trog |
MD - if you want, just email the video to me and I'll upload it to the site.

I would save it and than put on photobucket or snapfish. Once you upload to one of these websites you will be able to copy and paste the link of your video footage and everyone an view.. YEAH BOYEEE!!

Yeah, going to have to host it somewhere and provide the link.

Hosting is beyond my skill patience and/or attention level at this time... I sent you an email with vid attached. BR,mD |
Here's the video link. http://www.xoutpost.com/videos/eggharbortoll.asf
I'm not 100% certain, but I seem to recall that a link to that video on UTube or some other video sharing service has previously been made. Either way, it's an amazing video to watch (and perhaps to show to any new drivers in your household) |
Thanks, Jeff...
Amazing but chilling vid. I suspect a chase/get away attempt, which in itself is dumb and usually fruitless. The driver misjudged and couldn't split the uprights. It's an example of what a high speed impact hitting an immovable object does to a car, much more so than the barrier tests we see from NHTSA, et al. Thank you for putting it up for me. BR,mD |
