20" wheel fit

OE Style 214s should slap right on...the OEs are staggered.

X5 E70
10x20" tires: 275/40R20 offset ET 40

11x20" tires: 15/35R20 offset ET 37

Good BMW OE Wheel site:

Felgen-Katalog - BMW-Treff - der Treffpunkt für alle BMW-Fans und -Fahrer

OE style 214s and tires to fit, are not for the faint of heart, budget-wise...;)

german

site looks good but its in German.. lol

motordavid 02-13-2016 10:40 PM

Skip/pass over the German; the wording is obvious in the drop down tabs...the site shows most of all the wheels for BMW, including your E70 with wheel sizes/tire sizes, offset etc.

I pasted the stats for the 214s you have an interest in.

Wow! I must say that this site is much more forgiving than other BMW sites (and I like it!)

I thought the original post would get flamed hard with comments like "google it" or "use the forum's search function". I did the 20" upgrade and no regrets. Selling my 17inch Style 130 square for anyone looking for good winter tire options.

Glad I finally joined Xoutpost.

Why are the replicas 9.5" and 10.5"?

SDSoCal 07-09-2016 08:34 PM

Not sure what you're asking...but if I were to guess, I think you're asking why most use 9.5 and 10.5 size rims/wheels. It's the largest staggered (OEM) size that BMW used on the 4.6 and 4.8

The OEM spec is 10" front and 11" rear, but the aftermarket style 214 rims say 9.5" and 10.5"

I wonder if the 20" 405 style would fit my X5
