Hamann HM2 and 265/60r18 tyres

Some fun tyres and wheels for camping.
265/60R18 on 18x8.5" wheels with 38mm offset. Running a 25mm bolted on spacers in rear and therefore all 4 wheels are flush to wheel well lip.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...d54b079115.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...29f2c6e47f.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...d98c760b75.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...092507bfba.jpg

SO, I finally had an opportunity to mount and drive the x5 at highway speeds with a fully loaded x5 and hitch cargo rack and i hated to find out the tires do NOT feel balanced at all. quite a shudder in the steering wheel. No shudder under braking and nothing below 100 km/h, and all bushings up front and 4 gas shocks were replaced just a few months ago and even reinspected before this camping trip. I HATE having to take the wheels off and bring back to a tire shop to dismopunt the tires and remount them to see if they can potentially fix the balancing. NOT many wheel weights installed currently so that made me feel the wheels and tires were well built, and everyhting below 100km/h feels great... 1st world problems.

Update. I did have the wheels dismounted and remounted and rebalanced. Seems to have fixed the issue.
