17'' wheels on a 3.0 Diesel, do they fit?

Hi, can anyone help me on this one?

I am getting my 19 wheels refurbished on my 03 model 3.0 diesel and they have to take them away for two days and have offered to loan me some 17'' wheels off a petrol model. Does anyone know if they will fit?

Agree with MD.
I have 19's and 17's for my 4.4 in the US. I can't imagine that there is any difference with UK models as long as you have stock calipers.

Here is what I wrote in another thread:

Michelin Diamaris 4x4 are excelent tires. :thumbup:

Mine are 285/45 x 19 (back) and 255/50 x 19 (front). And the car goes like on rails.

Winter tires: Vredstein Xtreme 235/65 x 17.

I have the Sport-package and with my 19" I feel any bump on the road. The 17" are much softer - ahh...:bounce:
