Brake Noise

Just replaced brake pads and getting a great deal of noise. Brembo rotors with Mintex pads.

Any ideas

Did you apply plenty of anti-squeal compound to the back of the pads where they fit inside the calipers? If they are squealing, this is what fixes that.

Thanks!

It doesn't hurt to be very liberal with the application of it. As much as you probably don't want to, you need to pull it apart and re-apply more compound.

Did you bed the brakes in properly?

I also have a 2000 e46 328i sport with the same setup with no noise. I think I may have to try it again.
