Tire Comparison

Hey All,

It's time to replace my '02 3.0's tires. Since I've got the sport package, could anyone recommend a comparable alternative to the Michelin Energy MXV4 Plus that are on there now? 255/ 55-18 is the size. They were good tires, but they seemed to run short of the 40k miles promised. I'm a typical highway driver, who's not looking for anything beyond standard ride and performance. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.

I would definitely NOT recommend going to the Dimaris, if you are looking for a high-mileage tire. They are just not made for that. I have had 2 sets of Dimaris and they are very good sporting tires, but they are nowhere near as long lasting or as smooth riding as MXV4's. I agree with the others here -- hit the Tire Rack web site for a good comparison of appropriate tires.
