Brake wear indicator light

Hi can anyone tell me how to reset the check brake linings warning, I have fitted new pads and sensors all around, but dont fancy paying BMW to reset the warning, any help much appreciated

This worked for me a few weeks ago:

1. Turn key forward until power comes on (just short of starting)
2. Let sit for 45 seconds or so. (The diagnostics run)
3. Turn off.
