E53 Brake Job question

Just finished half my brake job and it went by pretty smoothly except removing the front rotor.

Ending up banging on the rotor for sometime with a ton of WD40 to loosen it up.

Which made me think, wouldn't it be easier to remove the rotor if we greased the hub up before placing the rotor on?
Anybody see any issue with this?

I would think this would alleviate the difficulty in removing the rotor next time.

use anti-seize instead of grease...

Brake job

What does it matter if you have to bang the rotor...you're going to through it away anyway...it's a good tension releaser! Seriously, for as often as you'll change the rotor, I'm sure any kind of lubricant will break down and not be effective. I found banging the front of the rotor helped loosen it up as well as the sides.
