295/40/20 - too wide for fronts?

hi all,

I have an opportunity to purchase some wheels with tires and they only have 295/40/20 tires all around. is this too wide a tire to run on the fronts?

they do have the option of 265/45/20 for the fronts (staggered), would this work? i think the smaller tires are not the right 'size' for the x5...

295/40/20 No it isn't too wide i had that on my car before i sold the wheels.

thanks for the info - I decided to go with 275/40/20's instead - seems to be the standard...
