Anyone have Wheel Spacers on their E70?

I have the 20" OEM 214 wheels WITH the extended wheel arches. What is the ideal spacer set-up for the front and rear? Does anyone have this set-up that's using spacers too?

I'm thinking 10mm for the Front and 15mm for the rear????

Thanks a bunch!

wheel spacers

I would like to know as well as I am interested in getting some spacers as well. Anyone have any suggestions?

I'm going with 10mm in the front and 12mm in the rear. I'm getting 43mm extra long wheel bolts as well.

We have a selection of BMW Wheel spacers available, they can be found here on our website:

BMW E70 X5 N62 4.8l Suspension Wheel Spacers

Because there are so many variables in selecting wheel spacers (wheel width, offset, tire size, suspension, etc...) the ideal way to determine sizes is by physically measuring.

A straight edge can be used to extend a line down from the fender. Measure the distance from the face of the wheel to the straight edge to determine how far you can push the wheels out without going beyond the fender.

What size spacers would you recommend on my E53 w/staggered 214 rims. I too plan on adding the extended wheel arches.

Unfortunately due to the extensive list of variables in choosing spacers (suspension setup, wheel size / width, tire size / width, etc...) it is near impossible for me to say exactly which size would work best.

My best suggestion for anyone thinking about spacers is to use the measuring technique I mentioned above. It is really the only way to get exactly the look you desire, unless someone else happens to be running the exact same setup.

I'm currently running Vredestein Ultrac - 275/40/20 in the front and 315/35/20 in the rear w/stock suspension, if that makes any difference........:dunno:

I added spacers. What a difference they make! Everyone should do spacers on their X5, especially if you're running 20"+ wheels on the car. It's a no brainer.

Just wondering did you get any wheel locks to fit your spacers ?
