RFT or not?

I need to get a set of dedicated winter tires. I have a 2006 X5 4.4i w/o sport package.

I am definitely getting the Pirelli Scorpion Ice and Snow. The question is what size.

Option 1:
Non RFT
255/60R18 or 265/60R18

Option 2:
RFT
255/55R18

I will be dropping these on my stock rims...can the 265 fit?

ok.. i will answer my own post.. I will go with option 2. :D

I will pass on the 265 cause of all that i have read concerning the skinnier the tire, the better traction in snow.
