Be nice I don't know nothing about wheels, except that size matters
I found these wheels on craigslist the ad says 20" bmw rimS and new tires $1295, but only shows a pic of one rim. My silly question: would that be the price for 4 rims w/ tires and are those tires sh*t? Thank god for boys.... |
Can't tell what kind of tires they are, but they look new. The wheels look like 168s. They also look somewhat discolored. Not sure if it's a reflection. Make sure you get pictures of all 4 wheels.

Write to the person who posted the ad and ask him for pics of all 4 wheels and tires.

I can't ID that wheel for certain, either...
as for "Antyre" brand tires, Googling them turns up little regard for that "brand". There are a dozen plus good brands for sale here in the US; why is that seller humping wheels with Antyres?! I'll keep digging, but that is a crap ad, and not informative. GL,mD |

I hope you hit'em straight this past weekend and that your CEO didn't make you roll the short ones :D Thanks for your help. |
OT...
Dani, Yes, I would take a Pasadena on that wheel/tire "set". When you get the itch again, do some shopping here, as wheel/tire sets come up here regularly, on the ol'JukeBox. My CEO won't give me a 2 foot putt to save double, . GL,mD |
Antyre is a Chinese brand. May be okay for your wheelbarrow, but I wouldn't put them on anything with speed capability beyond 5mph. The wheels don't look right either.
|
I was reading a Motor Trend magazine where they we're testing tires in certain price ranges based on their performance. There wasn't a single Chinese brand tire that tested well, but at least the had a cool tread pattern. The wheels look like they were painted w/ a fake chrome.

Maybe that is supposed to say "Anti Tire" :D

Hello Dani,
I am very soon going to purchase a set of Michelin Delmaris for my X5. After an exhaustive look around these seem the best tyre for X5's which are approved by BMW. Over here in the uk the cheapest I've found a set for is £700. Don't know the conversion to $$$$ Also it is a given rule as mentioned previously on this post you can have different Tyres between axles ie one set on the front different to the rear. The Delmaris are great in the wet and better in the dry. They will give on average, according to reviews, of 30,000 miles of use before a change is necessary. I hope this helps treakle. Keith |
