Control Arms

What are the tell tale signs you need to replace the control arms?

inside tire wear or premature tire wear as I just found out.

You can put a jack under it and shake the wheel, the ball joint end of the arm where it meets the spindle is what wears out first on them. Usually takes one person to shake left/right and one to look at the arm.
