Hey Members,

Check out my customers BMW X5 on our 22" Wheelrep X6M Style wheels staggered 22" by 10 and 22" by 11. Looks sweet!!!!

What you think?

FSETH 08-30-2010 03:50 PM

Nice wheels, but a little too big for an e53, imo.

^^ Agreed, looks too big

jayjay_dee 08-30-2010 11:51 PM

not feeling it either...

Yea 22's are too big. It now looks like all the old school cars with huge wheels driving around. Maybe if it was lowered, body kit and brakes which filled up the center of the rims, it could look better.

I think because the pictures are so big, its making the wheels look big. Because personally, I think it looks good. Everyone was complimenting the 22" Limestones on the X5s but I guess these are too aggressive?

I think you can resize that photo 100 different ways and it still wont change the fact that the proportions are all off. The problem isn't that they are too aggressive. The problem is that they are an inch (maybe two depending on wheel style) too big for an e53. Plus to make them fit at that size this tires have to be as thin as rubberbands. It just doesn't look right, imo.

Do tires not exist in 275/35/22 and 325/30/22 sizes?

Tell the owner that I wish his transfer case the best of luck.

22 look good its just too much chrome on that car which i think make the car look like a mexican dream mobile ...or an eye candy for a black dude...but its your car do your thing...i got 295 in the rear and god daaam 325 is huuuuge they will stick out in the rear...295 is flush......but its v8 so no biggie..

Hammer 01-05-2012 03:50 AM

Now you need bigger brakes to fill those gaps between the spokes. ;)
