That is a taller and wider tire than you are currently running... How much clearance do you currently have?

vskchoi 11-05-2010 10:07 PM

i have probably around 2 inches of clearance in the rear, and front i think about the same..
and will these tires also fit on my current 22" rims?
thanks!!

its actually a 2003 4.6is
sorry.

I don't have any specs on your current rims, so can't answer if the width will work. But you can find all that info on a site like tirerack.com. Do note that these tires are much larger in diameter than stock and will adversely affect your speedometer and odometer accuracy as well as put a little bit more strain on the transmission etc.

Your std diameter with 20" wheels is about 29 inches. You are suggesting that you want to move to a 32" combo. My gut says that's going to rub somewhere.

This will not work at all. You need a 285/35/22. Even a 285/40/22 will hit the strut in the front.

will 265/40/22 work on the front
