Questions about new brakes/tires for 4.8iS
 

Hello all! I'm looking at putting new brakes/rotors on. I've never done them myself on this car before and just wanted to verify that the following rotors and pads are good for my vehicle from all of you that have all the answers! I've poked around on here and think that these are what I want:

Rotors: Centric Premium, front and reat - Brakes for 2005 BMW X5 4.8is

Pads: Axxis Deluxe Advanced Ceramic Brake Pads, front: Axxis Deluxe Advanced Ceramic Brake Pads: buybrakes.com

rear: Axxis Deluxe Advanced Ceramic Brake Pads: buybrakes.com

Can anyone confirm that this will work for me?

Lastly, soon I will be replacing all four tires. I currently have the Michelin Diamaris. I was wondering if anyone knew of good places to get tires and if there are any better tires that you all prefer. Not looking for anything too crazy performance wise, just something in line with the Diamaris that may be cheaper/last a little longer.

I would recommend the Continental ExtremeContact DWS. I have them on my 4.6 and have no complaints. The 50,000 mile warranty is also a plus
