Speed Innovation Engine Performance Tuning allows the owner of the vehicle the opportunity to get the true performance potential out of their vehicle without performing major modifications. They are available for Audi, Bentley, BMW, Ferrari, Land Rover, Lamborghini, Maserati, Maybach, Mercedes-Benz, Mini, Porsche, Rolls Royce, and Volkswagen Automobiles.

Interesting. I have tried to communicate with them for upgrade to my 4.8is with 93 octane gas, was told to expect a phone call and then didn't get any response. They went dark. Not a good feeling since I live in FL and can't just pop over to get questions answered or problems fixed. What will be your pricing?

Are they available for 2004+ valvetronic V8's (4.4, 4.8)?

Yes sir. Speed Innovation is in the process of updating their pricing guides for us, so we'll have all the post 2004 cars on there shortly.

Pricing is the same. For the X5 4.8, it adds 17hp and 19tq :)

So you ship it . What do I do with it...?

Once ordered, we will provide instructions on how to remove your ECU. You will ship it out to Speed Innovations who will remap the ECU within 1 day and send it back via overnight transit. Entire down time is no longer than 1-2 days.

wait a min, you guys are located at N.CA?
I'm from SF so then I can bring my X5 and get installed?

Installations are performed in Southern California but we have a network of shops in the Bay Area that can remove the ECU for you, send it out, and re-install. You'd have to leave the car there until the ECU came back though.

You might want to DIY so you can store the car at your home.
