Sorry, I'm sure it's an amazing product but what does it do that the latest 2011 Systems do not do. Just trying to understand what the differences are between it and the factory system so I can better understand it's value.

MediaBridge is only compatible with 2000-2006 X5s.

What year/model are you?

Not sure where you're getting that information - this is indeed compatible with ALL e53 models: Business Cassette, Business CD and 16:9 Navigation.

This is incorrect, NAV is supported.

MB1500 kits will be shipping within the next 2 weeks, the MB1000 kits (no bluetooth) are in stock now.
