X5M/X6M air vent hole size - anyone 'fixing'?
 

Hi -

Lot's of radiator/intercooler real estate behind the vents on our ///M's. The black plastic covering could allow some very healthy sized rocks through.

I'm considering putting some black screen material behind all four of the openings plus the kidneys (really large openings). Since these babies run hot to begin with, anyone think this will be too much of an airflow restriction?

thats a good point. i would contact your SA and ask his opinion..
