Has anyone tried the 20" winter tires yet?
 

I know a couple people were looking into getting a set...

Bought them, not on yet (because it's still 60 degrees here).

Hope someone has some 'snow' experience to share.

I had the pirelli scorpions put on a few weeks back and had one decent snow storm here in Colorado and the car handled perfectly...did not slip even once.

That is really good to know - I'm about ready to place an order for Scorpion Ice & Snows 275/40R20's and 315/35R20s.

Have that on my 4.8i since end of Oct. No snow yet though so can't tell how it goes for snow driving.

Can you let us know prices on these tires? Im looking for the same set up and need a good place ot purchase from.

I bought them locally at an installer who would match Tirerack.com's pricing - Samaritan Tire in Minnetonka (for anyone in MSP reading this).

I've always bought tires online - shipping usually offsets the tax - but Samaritan does a great job installing and I'd rather give the business to them.

Thanks for the info. I just purchased a set of Toyo G-02 Plus in the stock 315 and 275 sizes. Im powder coating the stock wheels black as well before mounting the new snows. Will post pics late next week.

Anyone else ever use these Toyo's?

I have those toyos but on an e53 with 19" style 63 wheels for winter. So they are not as wide. They are 255/50-19 and 285/45-19. I have used the tires for 2 winter seasons and they have done an awesome job. They aren't to loud on dry pavement and in the snow and on ice they perform very good especially in such a big size.
