I think most of the new M owners would be terrified if their car got that dirty! The 'wash daily' syndrome usually lasts about three months. I'm on the wash weekly and detail monthly cycle...

how do you stop with those summer tires?

sadly enough i've been on the "keep showroom clean" syndrome since i was 12 years old washing my parents cars.

Still there, and now i'm stuck in upstate NY with my X5 at school, its tough, but somehow she stays clean!

I'd post up pics of ours (its almost as "lived in" as yours, Shaun), but my wife has taken it on a little road trip for the day with my sister.

I'm reading about a lot of wives taking the X's for roadtrips lately! Didn't MB PERF mention his wife had taken his for the weekend too?? Last week we got a good dump of snow and I told my wife to take the X as her car would surely get stuck. Now she wants the X every time she has to run any errands! :(

LOL. I don't have much say in the matter - the X6M is her car (she drives a Z4 M Roadster in the summer, and now has this for the winter/summer). She makes her own dough, so I can't really say much (although she lets me take her cars out on the track whenever I want to change it up a little :D ). You're right, though - I don't think I'll be getting much X6M saddle time........ :(
