BMW Tire & Wheel Protection Package
 

I'm being quoted $1195 to cover my 3 year lease term, and was curious what others have paid. They tell me that BMW recently started offering their own coverage and that is much better than any of the 3rd party options.

I think I paid the same. It did go up. Last time it was only $800.

I paid $995 for the BMW wheel protection package on my X6M. Be aware that the little cracks/fractures caused by the hard run flat tires may not be covered if the wheel still holds air. I had to replace 1 rear 20 inch wheel on my X5 4.8 that was cracked but did not leak.

I paid alleged 'dealer cost' $500 - 3 years/12K a year

Thanks for the response...my lease is 15k but even so I figured the dealer was making significant $ on this.
