First used X6M I've seen....

Saw this listed last night at Kuni in Portland Oregon. Seems like a good price as long as this was not a buyback or damaged...

Looks great. I may be getting an x5m, but I will always love the x6m.

The owner must not of liked it?

davidy1688 02-02-2010 06:46 PM

or the owner got fired or laid off, and no money??

motordavid 02-02-2010 07:14 PM

Serious hit, I would bet, based on MSRP, what a dlr gave the orig owner,
etc. Whew...

I remember the guy posting this car on here when he got it back in September or October. If I remember he had quite the garage.
Sure took a dump. I wonder how much more depreciation is hitting on X6M verses X5M's. My dealer has sold every X5M they have gotten but the one X6M they received is still sitting there, for going on two months now.

wow talk about depreciation....

that is one great deal there for anyone looking for an X6M

Since the market is up, it might be a replacement for the Honda.

You mean our '03 pos CR-V?!

I need to replace it, sooner or later, but not with an $80G+ car that
gets 15 mpg on a good day...

I'm thinking more like Hyundai Tucson, Chevy Equinox, RAV-4, et al,
in front wheel drive.

Fixed income makes one think long and hard about a new car purchase...

I PM'd you a link to used X5 M with 3k miles on Jan 18th for asking price of $80k with BMW of Arlington. Forgot?

I believe the formula is the same for all high end BMW's. In the first year, you lose $20k. The owner paid list of $89,995 then traded it back for about $69,900. He or she then would realize sale tax advantage of $4-5K toward the replacement vehicle. The dealer resells for about $79,995 etc. This particular X6M is not heavily optioned and the color combo is questionable to many. The same holds true for the X5M. I bet the numbers are very close to this scenario. In 3 years, the $100k XM5's and XM6's will wholesale in the high fifties. This is an expensive sport!!!

in 3 years the m's will be in the 50'k range.. stinks for original buyer selling but great for 2 nd owner..hopefully ill be one
