When you mod a car that has already been tuned in this case by M sport do you throw out all the delicate balancing and handling traits cause you have just pumped more power into it?.....I understand some mods to the suspension and wheels etc occur too, but I just wonder whether you will lose what you originally paid for which is M performance tuning for straight line performance? Any thoughts on this...........

Concern I always have is losing daily drivability. Current X5M is terrific to drive daily. Very easy and goes like crazy when you step on it.

Sometimes the tuning makes it no longer as easy to live with on a daily bases.

Not sure just adding more power will throw off balance.
