White X6M with Sakhir Interior
 

Hi guys,

It has been such long time since i was last here, almost 3 years now, i remember posting pictures of my white X5 back in 2007!
Anyways, i will be saying goodbye to my X5 and will be getting X6M in alpine white hopefully in a couple of days!! and i am totally excited about it since i have added a special performance chip from BMW to increase the performance (although it really doesn't need one since its a rocket ship lol) the HP will go from 555hp to 630hp!! :wow: i wonder what the 0-100km will be! :D

Thats because it probably doesnt exist. Lots of these "tuning" companies exaggerate claims.

Never heard of a chip for the X6 M to tune it to 630hp. I would be interested in it for the X5M...If it is available!?

Are you sure its not a G-Power setup? The dealers in UAE sell G-Power as if it is BMW and provide full BMW warranty on everything installed. They fly a technician in from Germany to install it in your car. The G-power seems like its only 600hp tho..

I forgot the name of the chip itself, but will inform you all once i get it and talk to the salesman, but the salesman from the showroom set everything up, i told him i wouldn't play with the power unless its authorized by the dealer (sense in the UAE, if we played with the car's power from an unauthorized dealer, the warranty gets dropped by the official dealer)
Lemans, i'm getting my card from Abu Dhabi motors, the official dealer from Abudhabi.
i chose AbuDhabi since they offer service upto 100,000kms and Dubai dealer doesn't offer any service for M models!

Very good combo..that was my original choice, but I changed my mind later.

If it is Abu Dhabi motors, I am more than certain it is the G-Power system. They tried selling that to me as well when I bought my X from them.
How much does the chip cost (around $80k?)?

My only problem with the red interior on these cars is there is just soooo much of it! I had red interior on my 335i and it was great, not too much...just looked sporty and fun. I think it's cool in a 2 door coupe, but not so much for a SUV/SAV.

If its G-power chip as in Typhoon, than Insideline has already beaten G-power's 0-60mph with stock X6 M.

I dont think its a G-Power, since i only paid 25,000AED for the chip which is equivilent to approx 7,000 USD. Anyways, i'm going today to pick the car up hopefully and i will get back at you regarding it. =)
