I was curious how the x5m handles in the rain?

depends on what you're trying to accomplish. should be fine. xdrive is amazing. but if you're trying to break the land speed record... :D

Shortly after I purchased my car last december, there was a big storm, so I drove Sunset blvd to PCH, which is a pretty windy road. My friend and I were simply amazed at the amount grip this big suv had, even on wet roads. Same goes for freeway speeds. The X5M feels solid and surefooted even in the worst rainy weather.

Traction in rain is more a function of tires than the car itself, having said that, this car does pretty well in rain.
