Everyone will always inject personal biased opinions, hard not to. Mine all leed to the cayenne with the new panamera interior but both are good. Some just find one superior.
I prefer air suspension. I prefer true customization when building. I prefer ceramic huge Oem breaks, full leather all over not just on dash, but handles, and vents and radar cruise, and options that only one has. You be your own judge. This being a BMW board will give you a BMW answer. Got to a Porsche and get the opposite answer. In the end it's what you need/want/can afford.

Good luck.

Thanks to all for the responses. I'm going to TD both and I'll report this week.
Jace: Which board do you recommend for Cayenne Turbo's?
Renntech ?

The answer is not that complicated if I understand your question right. Is 2011 Cayenne turbo faster than X5M, answer is No. Is it nicer in many ways, answer is Yes. Is it worth 40K more, that is up to you and your needs.

0-60mph BMW x5m 4.2 seconds
0-60mph porsche cayenne turbo 4.4

Back from 60 to 0 is a different story and around the track times also different. BOTH are great vehicles!! Preferences should be your
Decision maker and not our statements or opinions. Lay the facts out, prices, stats, accommodations, and make you decision.

Good luck
