Is there someone out there willing and able to photoshp these wheels on to my X5M? Jason really has me wondering what they would look like.

Agreed. I would concider HRE but they don't make the P40 in anything larger than a 20". Also not sure they recommend putting them on a SUV that weighs 2.5 tons.

If HREs can't handle the weight of the X5, how could knockoffs handle it?

Iluxa 02-14-2011 04:22 PM

same as adv.1 8.1 mono block, I'm very seriously thinking of buying a set this spring :)

I am not 100% sure that HRE won't recommend or if D2 will allow. Only reason I can think is if the HRE are lighter. While the wheels may look the same, some are rated to be able to take more weight than others.

check these out. To make the X6M rotors look small, they have to be 23". I would prefer a 21". But I love the look.

I'm thinking of exactly the same color combo, however how will it look on a monoblock? you got any examples?

998M 02-15-2011 08:22 PM

You all suck. Keep tempting me with the details of glorious wheels but not one person to show me what they look like.

Fortunately no examples.

If you want the deepest and most concave looking I believe you must do a three piece "deep concave max lip option with legs"

I will post pics as I get them from ADV1 during fabrication.

I almost did the ADV10 but they do not look as "bulky" and "meaty" so I chose the ADV7 to better compliment the mass of the X5 M.

Just need to decide if I should do the HR 1.2"/1" drop when I mount them.

I hope the HR drop does not compromise the factory suspension handling if the M
