What do the factory X5 M mats look like??
 

I purchsed my X5 M from a BMW dealer with 4k on the clock.

When I went to pick it up, it had BMW winter mats in it. The salesperson said he would give me a set of factory carpeted mats and he toss them in.

I took a good look at them today and I do not think they are correct. i called him and he assured me they are right.

The carpeted mats he gave me were dark grey color and say BMW on them. the problem is this:

I assumed M model had specific M carpeted mats?? My M3 had "M" mats
and
The truck has 2 hooks to retain the mat. The winter mats have the holes in them. The carpeted mats he gave me DO NOT have holes??? The salesperson claimed I had to remove the hooks for the winter mat and go to a different retainer for the carpeted mats???

He also did say that if ths truck is suppose to have a custom M mat, he would get them for me.

Can anyone post a pic of the factory carpeted mats? Thanks

my first M came with those same mats, my 2nd did too but later my salesman gave me the newer "M" mats and told me that they werent available before. i never used them and use the all weather hard plastic set.(they have hooks & holes) the m mats are a little bit darker and have an M where the normal bmw or x5 would be..

from the factory i dont think it came with anything..give me a few and ill snap a photo of what i was given...

The mats in your pic do not have anchor holes in the back section???

My truck has hooks in the floor to hold the mats and the mats will not sit flat on top of the two hooks.

Look at the pics on the weathertech site. My truck has the same setup. Exceot it has the BMW rubber winter mats. Which have two anchor holes as well

personally, i will probably just get the WeatherTech digital.
I have had those on my QX and my old Escalade and they do not wear, hold alot of water. protect everything and fit great.

i got plain blk mats ! i like those ones in the pic do you have a part # ?

i bought a real cheesy set of ebay which look cool but 3 mo laterthey look like crap all frayed and stuff

My X5 M came with plain black mats. The exact same mats that came with my X5 Msport.

the hooks come off doho & bmw sells a set just like those WeatherTech mats but better im sure. the mats in my picture do not have any holes.

LI-X5, i think this is it, 82 11 0 440 524 carpet floor Mats/set of 4-m. it's also listed as e70 na anthr flock 82 11 0 440 524 on the tags

Mine came with the M mats that E53is posted. The car has no hooks, just velcro on the floor so does the mat. BTW, I got my car in PA if you have a question
