E70 2008 transform to M?
 

Hi guys
i have a question
how hard is it to get a kit for an E70 X5 4.8 from a 2012 X5 M-sport or just X5M?

is it doable?
do bumpers just fit?

please let me know what you know and ill go from there.

For the 2011 ///M, if you have an m sport, then just fenders and front bumper. If not then rear bumper, arches, fenders and front bumper.
For the X5///M, if you have an m sport, rear bumper, exhaust tips (or new rear section, up yo you) fenders, headlights, side vents/indicators, front bumper and hood. if not then, rear bumper and exhaust, arches, front bumper, side skirts, fenders, side vent/indicators, headlights, hood.

or,you could get the rear bumper and exhaust, arches and side skirts, 2011 fenders and X5Mfront bumper.

I have a 2011 X50 with M package and ONLY want to add the front spoiler. Ive been looking at the two cars and it seems to me I need

1) the side arches that flare the wheel well are different between the X5M// and the M Sport Package

On the M they stop at the bumper and on the M Sport they go all the way down in the front

2) The front spoiler.

Again I assume that I dont have to (or want to ) change the lights and associated bits and pieces.

The only challenge would be the fog lights, which I would probably incorporate separately into the new front spoiler similar to MB or Audi. There are aftermarket LED fog lights that I could use


Any help is appreciated!

X5M headlights are different than e70s. They come from the X6. So yes, the bumper would not fit without new head lights

Hmm - Ive been told otherwise
 

If you look at both bumpers (ive had them parked side by side)

the bumpers are at the same height and level - so really what is above them (the lights and the instert that sits below the lights) - would not be needed.
