Can I use X6 wheels on my X5M?

I recently traded in my X5 for a X5M and I am aware that rear hub size is different on the M from the non-m. I have 18" wheels that I used for my winter set but I don't believe the 18's will clear the brakes.

I understand that the X6 shares the same hub size as the M. Will 19" X6 take offs fit? Spacers required?

I know I can buy X5 wheels and then use hub-centric spacers to adapt to the X5M size but I prefer not to do this. See below link.

Maybe I should just buy some 298M's from Tischer for 400 per wheel.

Any and all input is appreciated.

X6 wheels will fit on X5M. You can add spacers for cosmetic reasons but you don't need them.

I believe none of the 19" will clear the brake for the X5M/X6M except style 298M

Thanks. If that's the case I will have to buy some spacers. I have sourced a set of 19's with A/S Tires and TPMS for $750. Much more cost effective than 298M's plus tires, TPMS, etc. Spacers are relatively inexpensive.

Thanks for the replies.
