are they the same for the X5 and the X6? those listed say X6.... just making sure!

Both X5 M and X6 M are same in front of A-pillar; fascia, hood, bumper-fender, etc. same part #s.

This is incorrect... Ordered them fom bimmian (X6 M) and they don't fit.

Here is the proof that they are same grilles.

I was referring to the side "gill" not the front grill.

Sorry for confusion. In the past I have heard that they fit each other irrespective. Bimmian should take it back from you and provide one for X5 M. Talk to Steve Gulab at Bimmian and he can help.

Where did you find your black grills for the 2013 X5M? Or did you simply use the 2012 version? Grills are different for 2010-2012 verses the 2013..

Point of clarification,, the X5M verses the X6M gills or side markers are different...

Ok thanks. Those are the 2010-2012 spec grills. The 2013 have a wider rim and the grill slats are thicker and have a slight bend in them towards the bottom of the slat.

They still fit... I have them in my 2013.

sooo does anyone know where to get matte black side grille(gill)??

Some people here mixed up the front Grill and Side Gill. OP you can try IND or ebay, IMO they are pretty much made by the same manufacture from Taiwan. BTW it is PITA to remove the side gill.

Take to your local bodyshop and have them paint matt or gloss finish to your linking. That's what IND does. You can send them to IND for repainting, but local will be cheaper.
They can also tint the markers.
