X6M paint chipping?

Is the X6M plagued by the same paint chip problems/issue as the X5M? Should I do 3M in all the same areas as advised with the X5M?

Simple answer: YES.

Put some 3M on the lower door panel too

Where on the lower door panel? 2", 3", 4" strip right on the lower door bottom? Front and rear doors?

Sorry, the rear door.. Maybe a 3-4 inch area above the rocker. Shape it sort of like a convex triangle. I'm sure the dealer has a technique for it... Ask them where they would put it, then go elsewhere for a better price!
