Has anyone swapped out the crappy run flats?

I hate these tires. they are as hard as a rock. I am sure not RFT would increase ride comfort tremendously.

Has anyone made the switch?

Yes I have been running continental DWS, significant improvement in ride quality but have not been able to get rid of annoying vibration

what vibration are you speaking of? result of the tire swap?

A little shake and vibration that feels like wheels and tires are out of balance but no matter how many times I took it in, they could not get rid of it.

Can you describe that in more detail? What speed does it happen and what did the dealer try and suggest?

It is a vibration I get around 65-80 miles. I feel it is from rear tires but you do see the steering shake as well if you look at it closely at that speed. I had the wheels and tires balanced at least 5 times now. The last time they told me the wheel was bent and I had to get a new wheel. Desperate enough I ordered a new wheel but the problem persisted. They eventually blamed non runflat tires. It is a shame because the car rides significantly better with these tires, you can actually feel the suspension and the road without getting beat up
