I found a set of EBC Yellowstuff pads that I am going to try. They should be here in a couple of weeks and I will report back after some track usage.

Any reports on these??

I was having squealing problems with the Posi-quiet - they sent me another set and I noticed it came with new locating pins, springs and an extra shim on each pad
these are the fronts I will let you know - I have been content with the stopping, no fade, good feel...and less dust. The downside to the less/type of dust - Sonax doesn't really clean it - so when the wheels are dirty you HAVE to use a brush to agitate the dried on mess Let me know about those EBC pads |
Those EBC part numbers are not for X5M and X6M

Good to know Stu. I downloaded the EBC catalog last night and was looking at their part numbers. They state that they have rotors and pads (Yellow and Red) for the M, but when I tried to add the rotors to my order, it wouldn't let me... Only showed fitments for the pre-facelift models... (30i, 48i)
Soo, still waiting to see what's best. I'd love to call StopTech tomorrow and find out if they have any more info. Also, has anyone used Adam's brakes? They have a really nice looking setup, custom options, and about $2500 for pads/rotors/lines... Haven't heard of anyone that has picked it up to try. |
