Cleaning carbon leather trim

What do you guys use to clean the carbon leather trim? Can't use anything that would dry the leather...

Any leather cleaner/conditioner is effective.

Great question - I also wouldn't want it left slippery or glossy

What do you guys use to clean/condition the nappa leather dash? I used some armor all brand it it looks like crap. Streaky and now its kinda shiny in some spots.....grrr. Mental note to self, dont use cheap stuff laying around in the garage.

I just used a damp microfiber cloth on my Carbon Leather trim in my previous E90 and E92 M3's. The only part that ever really needed a "wipe down" is on the driver's door. Sometimes it would get ashy after my hands rubbed against it a few times while opening the door. Other than that, it doesn't require any real maintenance. :dunno: Then again, I keep my cars very well maintained and I almost never open my windows, so I never have any appreciable dust build-up.

lexol sometimes - but mostly a shammie

I got the Lexol leather cleaner and conditioner and use a microfiber cloth to apply it. I did the seats, door, leather dash and the carbon leather trim. It came out really good. It definitely left the leather softer and not shiny or greasy.

This is the good stuff. German company. Haven't tried anything of theirs I didn't like.

Amazon.com: einszett Leather Care Lederpflege - 8.5 fl. oz.: Automotive

Also, their "Cockpit Premium" is the best thing for BMW plastics. Hands down. It won't hurt the leather or carpet if you accidentally get some on there. I use it on everything from window switches to the dash board to the gas pedal.

Griots interior cleaner, Einzett, warm water, microfibers....

Armor all is a BIG NO! it gurantees you greasyness.

Spray onto the Microfiber instead of onto the surface especiallly on the dash so theres no overspray to the glass
