Hi, can you reccomend any obd scanner and software for my e84? Thanks

What do you need from it?

For engine and transmission issues and smog check readiness a wireless OBD adapter and the OBD Fusion app work well; less than $30 for both.

For BMW-specific stuff I use the Carly app and their gen 2 Wifi adapter which totals about $100. It reads trouble coes from all the modules, does a lot of coding, and is simple to use.
