Navigation system memory

Hi, I'm a newbie here.
I recently bought a 2006 X3 3.0sd. It's has a weird problem with the Nav System.
The Destination address book is full of old addresses and so is the 'last destination' list. I deleted them all but when I turn off the car then turn it on again they all come back!
Same thing if I enter an address. It holds it in memory fine while I'm driving but if I stop and switch off the car then turn it on again it's gone and is not in last destinations.
It's as if things go into temporary memory fine but are not stored permanently, like that memory is full or something but when I delete stuff it won't stay deleted. There should be some way to reset them entire system but there doesn't seem to be.
Any ideas anyone?

Using INPA, BMWscanner 1.4 and reboot navy module. Or take of fuse №7,42
