Anybody Interested in a HPDE?
 

I was thinking of taking the X3 to a HPDE (High Performance Driving Event) at Buttonwillow in March of this year. It is being hosted by a company called Driving Concepts (http://www.drivingconcepts.com). Although the day is pricey, I really like this group. It is small and very professionally run.

My plan is to run the X3, and I think it would be cool to get a group of SAV's out there. Anybody else interested?

How much is pricey?

It is $425 for the day at Buttonwillow. That includes lunch and one-on-one instruction all day. They usually run in two groups of ten which means that on Buttonwillow (which is pretty big) there is little traffic.

Unlike a typical track day where they send you out on your own, this is high quality instruction all day. It is really great IMHO!!!

Ouch. That is a bit much, esp. after christmas time. :(
