Rear Diff no drain Plug?

I got around to changing the rear diff fluid on this e83 today and it's the first BMW I worked on that did not have two plugs in the rear diff. I couldn't find a second so I referred to TIS and sure enough they have an optional diff (188L) that only has one plug?

Anyone come across this - how did you drain the fluid? this is BMW asinine.

Here's a pic of the TIS saying "No drain plug" - doesn't bother to say exactly how to drain it either.

Ok figureed it out - this chassis came with different diff options. Caught me off guard cause every other e83 I've seen had the diff with the 2 plugs. (see image). Ended up siphoning and filling via same hole.

Finished the diff only to find 2 engine mount (aluminum) bolts had sheared off. What an ordeal trying to get them out - replaced with steel bolts. BMW really should be forced to recall all these - it's like every second car now with 100K+ and aluminum engine mount bolts (3 per side) I find one or two sheared - if you've never inspected them time to.
