e83 Wheel Size Question
I just bought an '06 e83 6MT over the weekend and having it shipped to Alabama.
I have a line on some Style 449 19x9" ET48 wheels, for a decent price. The rubber is worn, but I'm just looking to go after the wheels. Does anyone here know if they will fit on my X3? Thanks, |
I don't feel like doing a search to see what BMW model the Style 449 wheels were offered on...plus find out what there center bore information is.
If you have this info...please post complete wheel info so that we can answer your question. Help us help you better...give complete info if you want suggestions recommendations. :) If Style 449 wheels are from one of the new G series BMWs...many of them have different wheel bolt patterns. Are these sedan or SAV wheels? The larger SAV wheels (like some of the X5 & X6 wheels)...may have a larger center bore (74.1mm) vs the smaller 72.56mm center bore used on most E & F series BMWs. |

Thankfully, I was a member of bimmerfest from back in my e46 days and was able to search for the information needed and educate myself on center bore sizes (not an issue I've run into before). 449's are from an 2015ish X5 with a 74mm center bore, so no they wouldn't have fit properly. I ended up going with Style 608's. |
Don't give up yet
You can get spacers to reduce the center bore in BMW wheels. Do you know the offset? Sometimes you may also need a spacer for the offset. What is more important is the tire size you plan to put on the wheels. You should keep the OD close to stock.
