As stated above and the twenty year old leather gave way. After about 6mos of its existence I finally came up with a plan to patch the leather on the driver seat. Changed my approach couple of times...

Had to revisit the above job. It took a beating over the last 8mos(being the driver seat) so I reworked the area for uniformity and strength using left over scrap leather...maybe this will hold another 8 months or longer .
