Really Dumb Question
My '06 x3 has black interior. I have already gotten some scratches (not deep, just brush marks) on the "pebbly" rubberized material that covers the dashboards, doors, etc. from things such as briefcase, notebooks, my co-workers size 13 boot, etc.
Is their anything that will eliminate these scratch marks? More than likely I'm the only person in the world this could possibly bother, but my new hobby is keeping this car aesthetically perfect (so I don't have much of a life). Any help appreciated. |
I will be awaiting anxiously what advice people give you. I have the same problem, but from my kids.

Try a gentle rub in with Simoniz Black Wax for plastic trim.
Might need a nailbrush if the scratches are quite deep. Worked on all our cars - so far. |
Thanks, iguassu. I'll definitely give that a try!

Tell your friends to respect your hard earned property. If it's really scratched you might be able to hide them but you won't be able to get rid of them to easily.
