ice>Link is the way to go. The sound quality on the aux adapter is just as good if you use the line out. However, you need to use the click wheel to control the ipod, which I can live with since I usually setup an on the go playlist before I leave the house. But the biggest problem is you have to remember to pause the ipod when you turn the car off or it will keep playing. So if you get out of the car for say 30 minutes, you missed a lot of music when you get back in. ice>Link handles this for you.

rasta-- when you say icelink "replaces" the cd changer....does that mean i need to order the six cd changer in order to use icelink?

Also...i'm not clear where the sirius or nav are installed...when you say "trunk" side...do you mean rear compartment? My hope would be that they'd be hidden completely....Are there options for where this and the nav box can get installed?

thanks again

It's either Ice>link, OR the CD changer, not both. The connections for the Ice>link and CD changer are one and the same, so you have to make a choice between the two. Frankly, I'd chose the Ice>link (iPod over CD changer). From personal experience, I've had the aux input for the iPod, AND the CD changer, and guess which I used the most! In addition, there's no question that the Ice>link plus is leaps and bounds better than the aux input. Besides, Tom G. is awesome!!

As for the Sirius receiver, there's a compartment in the trunk on the driver's side where the Nav unit is installed. The Sirius reciever fits right below it. I'll take a pic and post it for you when I get back to NY on Sunday. There's a little release button which allows you to remove a cover, which then exposes the Nav unit, as well as the Sirius connections. And yes, both are completely hidden.

I asked my dealer for that iPod cable and he told me its 240 swiss francs, about 180 dollars

So, here are the pics of the left side of the trunk where the Nav and Sirius receiver are located. Hope this helps!
The first pic is of the release button, the last is of the panel removed to expose the Sirius receiver and Nav unit.
