20's on the X3 and now the low tire warning light?
How do i get it to shut off?
I installed my wheels late tonight, they look good ill add pic tomorrow when its light outside.. Anyways, im driving for like 10 minutes and a warning light comes on.. I pull over and pull out the manual to see that is the low tire / flat tire warning.. I obviously dont have a flat so how do i get it to turn off? It might the new wider wheels but i almost felt like the ABS was trying to compensate for the low tire or something or i was just on a shity road and imaging things.. Any suggestions? |
You just have to reset it. Start your vehicle. Press the low tire pressure button down until the light goes out. then let go andpress and hold it down till it goes back on again. then start driving when the light shuts off again by itself it will be reset. It went off because the new tires are not the same hieght as your new tires. But it doesnt affect ABS or DSC.

I have a low tire pressure button ? :) where is that?
|
should be in front of your shifter. Thats were it is on my X5. If you have a low tire pressure monitor which obviously you do since the light came on. you definately have to have the button too.

Ok, there are like 5 buttons there in front of the shifter
