Are '06 grills different?
 

Hi All,

I couldn't help but notice that the grills on the '06 models have chrome accents. Is this standard or have people been spec'ing the chromeline grills?

I'd be interested in knowing how much these are to retrofit, I don't like the holes in the 'free' chrome grille so I painted mine silver, but I like the look of the '06 grills much more.

I thought you said girls........was excited for a minute :bmw: . I bet you could just order a grille for an 06. I see the OEM replacement costs about 42.00 for each side.

According to the German catalog, the lower models (2.0i and 2.0d) come without those chrome details.

The 3.0i/d version has chrome at least in the grils and in the door moldures.

You can buy them. I think they run around $100.
